Hoy Que Ya No Estas Aqui

It means "now that you're not here"

It's been awhile since the last time i heard this song from Il Divo, about 6months now since i lost my old iPod and my computer got corrupted; I've lost touch with this song.

What i really like about this song is that the lyrics truely reflects my thoughts and feelings when i broke up with my first ex. Very often people relate certain songs to certain stages of their life and "Hoy Que Ya No Estas Aqui" is just what I was early this year.

This is the english translation: (roughly means this)

I never told you I loved you
you never knew the truth
I was not able to appreciate
all that you gave me
I made mistakes
you left my heart empty
and now that you're not here
now that I know how much I lost
I have no will to live
It hurts thateverything is over
you were everything to me and you never knew anything about my love
you said that you loved him that he stole your heart
I believed that our love would be an endless one
but I was wrong
it's incredible, it's over now that you're not here
I have no will to live
you’ll always be the fantasy
I can’t believe that I was letting go

The joy of cycling

I had never put biking in my list for a weekend date with my bf but yesterday stevie came out with an idea of cycling at the Shah Alam botanical gardens right after some quite serious debate between us over the renovation of his new place. Yes! in jeans and street shoes.
*
The park was rather quiet and that was exactly what i was hoping for, so i won't be too embarrassed when i fall off the bike as hadn't ride on a bike for some time now.
*
My trip to Japan for the exchange program 2 years back was my last exposure to bicycles, which is when i once lost all control traveling up a steep cliff, narrowly escaped landing into someone walking her dog. (my foster brother laughed at me for days).
*
But then for some reasons i had surprisingly improved my riding skills this time! perhaps i don't wanna get laughed at by stevie. But if i've already mastered the art of cycling while i was in Japan, traveling in this 2-wheel vehicle is literally hassle free as parking facilities were so cutting edge, you gotta check it for yourself:

This cycling trip left me wonder how convenient it is if our streets are more pedestrian and bike friendly and we can actually ride to supermarkets, gym and even work, especially during peak hours where roads are clogged due to the city's poor road infrastructure and some kayu traffic police; they just make things worst.
*
If cycling is the next alternative for those who enjoy navigating and making decisions on which route to use, it would be a pleasure as cycling can definitely reduce precious fuel usage and besides being environmentally friendly, you can seamlessly train a sexy butt and legs on your way to work!

A few modifications and adding some accessories will make you travel in style if you don't wanna look like........this:

This pannier replaces the shopping cart

It's good to know what's behind you.
Look out for impatient buses!

More lights. Keep them on even during day time for safety. (since motorcycles are required.)

Glancing..exchanging glances..

Location: Bedroom
Mood: Full of thoughts
Sights and sounds: It's Amazing, Jem
When was the last time you've exchanged glances with someone you think he's cute and attractive, then looking away for a sec when glancing became staring... and this continues in the bus until one of you alighted and the next-to-flirting session ends? Sounds too typical yea..
*
This is especially interesting when you had a long day and to be able to exchange glances with a hot guy seems to be the bonus of the day!
*
For some, exchanging glances with the same person again and again led to curiosity and interest to that person and a good place to advertise your classifieds is Trevvy's C.A.P. (except there's over 4000 ads and he might not know Trevvy, or doesn't search on C.A.P., but at least there's a platform.)

Here are some classic examples:

The power of time

Location: Dining room
Mood: Very full from Stevie's Nando's
Sights and sounds: Dim Sum Dollies, SIA Girls, Youtube

While browsing through dad's flickr page, (http://www.horsoonsphotography.blogspot.com/ and http://www.flickr.com/people/horsoon/) I found myself traveling in memory lane as i saw pictures of me and my family over the years. I then realize how much i have changed from an innocent child to the problematic youngster unsure of his sexual orientation till so far, today; erm..haha i don't know how to describe the recent me..most probably a few years later i'd laugh at whatever i'm doing right now :)

Here are some pics of me and my family 9 years ago.
(Stevie said i look a bit Beng but.. a true person treasures his past! :P)

By the way, Chrystal wasn't born by then.

Cheat or no cheat

Location: Bedroom
Mood: Energetic
Sights and sounds: All dressed in love, Jennifer Hudson

Was browsing profiles on axcest not too long ago... 25 pages matching my search criteria! It seems everybody is looking for love these days. Looking through them,I noted a few all–too–familiar faces. Some of whom I know have had boyfriends for several years, yet their status still brands them as “Single”. I can safely say that not all “single” men online are truly what they claim to be.

The word “cheat” is a silly one, for it is culturally centered. It implies that we have violated the rules of the game called Relationship. Why do men cheat? or to be general, why do people cheat? Is it because the risk of being caught made cheating so appealing? Or simply because we can never have enough?

If only we could be brutally honest to ourselves, we would then acknowledge that we are by nature, attracted to more than one individual even we are in the most romantic relationship. Fairytale-like love stories aside, this is not an infringement of any pledge of love made to our lover. It's just natural intuition. Hello, if this is not the case, what are porn for? Does watching porn while having a relationship considered cheating, if one would inevitably assume the term "love' is something ENTIRELY a one-to-one basis activity.

Again, we see ourselves landed in the question of definition. What are the boundaries and how do we consider ourselves cheating or being cheated? Definition of cheat varies from couple to couple. Some might think having three-ways and orgies a way of exploring each other better, some think having an open relationship works better and some would simply regard watching other men engaged in sexual activity an offense.

In a world full of temptations and offers, it's vitally important for couples to have adequate communication and understanding over the issue of cheating and set clear rules so that we do not cross boundaries and eventually hurting the relationship.

Jalan What?

Location: Study room
Mood: Shocked
Sights and sounds: Sound of Zoe barking downstairs

Even Kuala Lumpur may soon loose it's name forever in a matter of time if authorities are not concerned over the concept of preserving history.

The recent controversy over the name change of Jalan Alor to Jalan Kejora is another, in my point of view attempt made by some 'somewhere-ranked' officers 'Upstairs' to do some publicity work. Too similar to the entertainment industry, minus the elegant and handsome faces, replaced by some rotting and restless politician uncles. Namely Uncle Mohd Amin Nodin Abdul Aziz. Now, the whole Malaysia and beyond recognizes him! what a successful marketing plan.

Although i've never fancied eating along Jalan Alor, but i'm sure it somehow portraits the exotic Malaysian cuisine. It is a vital part of Kuala Lumpur's history and that title doesn't come easy. The sudden change of it's name after being recognized as the eating place for more than 30 years now by both tourists and locals is certainly unfair and ridiculous. To make matters worse, the authority actually secretly changed the road sign overnight without proper notice and agreements with the locals!

Uncle Amin quoted :"Names are changed to avoid confusion of postmen." Well, very thoughtful of him over our postmen; but how about our tourists? Nobody will be delighted if Eiffel tower is renamed something else in order to 'stay align with the themed neighbourhood', as proposed by City hall to name streets in neighbourhoods according to themes. i.e. Stars, Fruits, Animals...etc. Where on earth did someone came out with such idea?

This shows that Malaysia has very little history background and is not interested in preserving any in future.
